About This Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and organised Student and Academic Administration Officer to join the Medical School's Student and Academic Administration team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service by delivering accurate and helpful advice and services to students, staff, and stakeholders. The position encompasses a variety of administrative tasks, day-to-day problem resolution, and maintenance of academic systems.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide timely and accurate information to students, staff, and stakeholders in line with University policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.

  • Support the timetable and syllabus management for the MD program, including academic administration tasks such as course profile updates, exam paper production, and grade amendments.

  • Assist with the review and implementation of processes to improve efficiency, including managing information across databases, websites, and publications.

About You

  • Strong understanding of student and academic administration processes, with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail.

  • High-level communication skills, including the ability to work independently, collaborate with teams, and provide excellent customer service.

  • Experience in a tertiary education institution or large organisation, with knowledge of student computer systems (e.g., Microsoft Office, SI-net, CRM systems) being desirable.

The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including right to work in Australia and background check.
