Palm Lake Resort, Paynesville is launching its newly built clubhouse,and we are seeking a Permanent Full time Cleaner to maintain the presentation of our prestigious resort facilities, covering 38 hours per week between Monday to Friday - no weekends. Shift times are between 7am - 5pm.
This role will commence mid April 2025.
As a Cleaner, your primary purpose is to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation throughout the resort. Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning and maintaining common areas such as the pool room, office, hairdresser, gym, craft room, clubhouse, and library.
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and rubbish removal.
- Ensuring toilet facilities are cleaned to a hygienic standard.
- Cleaning internal windows and ensuring equipment like refrigerators and microwaves are spotless.
- Tidying kitchen areas, including emptying dishwashers and wiping surfaces.
- Replenishing supplies such as coffee, tea, and other consumables.
- Identifying and eliminating hazards, such as slippery floors or obstacles, to ensure safety.
- Cleaning stock and display homes for potential purchasers.
- Weekly tasks such as cleaning light switches, power points, door frames, and dusting cobwebs.
- Other cleaning duties as directed by the resort managers.
What We’re Looking For:
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to high cleaning standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage a cleaning schedule effectively.
- A positive attitude and a proactive approach to ensuring the resort is always at its best.
- Prior cleaning experience is advantageous but not essential.
