Kara Di Dio Speech Pathology is a paediatric Speech Pathology service located in Traralgon, Gippsland.

Our team is made up of speech pathologists, allied health assistants, early childhood educators and administration.

About you

We are looking for a speech pathologist (new graduate or experienced) to join our team to help meet the demand for service in our local area.

New graduates and early career clinicians will be offered a gentle onboarding program with ample opportunity to shadow senior clinicians, engage in professional development and gradually build a realistic caseload.

Qualifications & experience

  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology (or equivalent).
  • Current Speech Pathology Australia Membership with Certified Practising Speech Pathologist status (or ability to obtain)
  • Eligibility for Medicare Provider Status
  • Current Working with Children's Check and National Police Check
  • Current Victoria's drivers licence and comprehensive vehicle insurance

Tasks & responsibilities

The successful applicant will be:

  • Working with children up to 18 years of age
  • Providing evidence based assessment and intervention for a range of speech pathology needs including speech, language, AAC and literacy.
  • Engage in community and/or education programs such as Speech Therapy Assistant programs in schools, The Dazzle (mulitdisciplinary neurodivergent affirming preschool group program) and school readiness funding support in preschools.
  • Providing a service in the clinic, education settings, online and community.

All the standards:
Regular Supervision. Weekly for experienced clinicians, biweekly for early career clinicians.
Full admin support so you can focus on being a speech pathologist
MacBook, iPad, phone, travel allowance
