Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to step into the key leadership role of General Manager, Surgical Services. This pivotal position is responsible for overseeing our Surgical Services and Perioperative Units, ensuring that our core values, person-centred care, integrity, excellence, and collaboration are upheld at every level. This posiiton is on an ongoing, full time basis .
As General Manager, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight, driving excellence in patient care and service delivery. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of our surgical services, fostering a culture of innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

About you
- Current practicing registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) as a Registered Nurse.
- Postgraduate qualification in Operating Theatre or Advanced Surgical Nursing equivalent.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Health Administration/Business Management or working towards same.
- Proven experience in senior management and the provision of high-level leadership with the ability to develop team performance and coach/mentor senior health professionals.
- Well-developed analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving and decision making.

Medical and radiation oncology are offered by the Gippsland Cancer Care Centre.
