About the facility

Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.

About the role

Barwon Health is seeking a passionate Psychologist to join the Pathways to Good Health Initiative. In this role, you will deliver cognitive, learning, and behavioural assessments to children (ages 5-17) and families accessing the service. Your work will directly improve health outcomes for children in Out of Home Care (OOHC) known to DFFH and Child Protection (CP).

Based at McKellar Centre, with occasional travel to other Barwon Health sites, you will play a vital role in empowering children and supporting their futures.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have the following:

  • Master or Doctoral Qualification in Clinical Psychology, Neuropsychology or Educational and Developmental Psychology
  • Experience working with children and families
  • Experience undertaking cognitive, learning and behavioural assessments
