Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert HR advice and align HR strategies with organisational goals.
  • Develop and implement HR policies to foster operational excellence.
  • Lead employee relations efforts, including mediations and investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and organisational policies.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, bridging gaps between management and employees.
  • Design and enhance HR systems and resources to improve efficiencies.
  • Manage recruitment, retention, and professional development initiatives.
  • Draft position descriptions, update policies, and manage payroll-related queries.

About You

Skills & Experience

  • Qualified: Degree in HR or a related field.
  • Experienced: Proven track record in HR generalist roles, with expertise in legislation, employee relations, and system implementation.
  • Change Management: Skilled in guiding teams through transitions, fostering continuous improvement.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in HR systems, database management, and payroll processes.
  • Collaborative: Approachable and skilled in building relationships across diverse groups and external providers.
  • Adaptable and Organised: Capable of managing competing deadlines in a high-volume environment.

Additional Requirements

  • National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Current driver’s licence and flexibility for occasional out-of-hours events.
  • A commitment to integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
  • To be eligible for this position you must have legal work rights to work in Australia.
