Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert HR advice and align HR strategies with organisational goals.
- Develop and implement HR policies to foster operational excellence.
- Lead employee relations efforts, including mediations and investigations.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and organisational policies.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, bridging gaps between management and employees.
- Design and enhance HR systems and resources to improve efficiencies.
- Manage recruitment, retention, and professional development initiatives.
- Draft position descriptions, update policies, and manage payroll-related queries.
About You
Skills & Experience
- Qualified: Degree in HR or a related field.
- Experienced: Proven track record in HR generalist roles, with expertise in legislation, employee relations, and system implementation.
- Change Management: Skilled in guiding teams through transitions, fostering continuous improvement.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in HR systems, database management, and payroll processes.
- Collaborative: Approachable and skilled in building relationships across diverse groups and external providers.
- Adaptable and Organised: Capable of managing competing deadlines in a high-volume environment.
Additional Requirements
- National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
- Current driver’s licence and flexibility for occasional out-of-hours events.
- A commitment to integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
- To be eligible for this position you must have legal work rights to work in Australia.
