The RoleWe are seeking two Transport FLDs/Dock Hands with forklift driving experience to join our busy warehouse team in Ballarat. While forklift operation is a key part of the role, it is not 100% forklift work-you will also be required to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving freight. This physically demanding role involves standing for extended periods and regular lifting. The shifts are 4 hours long, running daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a counterbalance forklift to load and unload trucks.
- Lift freight from a waist-height chute to a holding are
- Sort and scan freight into customer piles for efficient loading
- Stack freight from ground level to shoulder height
- Work collaboratively with team members to handle heavy freight
- Physical fitness and ability to lift up to 25kg with assistance
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Monday to Friday availability
