The Role
Experienced Forklift Operators - Multiple Roles on offer!
We are currently seeking experienced forklift operators, preferably within the transport industry, and ideally experienced in loading large trucks with ugly freight.
Typical duties include the loading and unloading of trucks, semis and larger vehicles, load restraint experience, Scanning and stickering freight, and working in a large team to 'get the job done'.
Key Responsibilities
- 2+ years current experience operating a counterbalance forklift to move, load and unload general freight
- Load restraint experience
- Accurately recording inventory movements using an RF scanner.
- Conducting pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.
- Ensuring that all health and safety regulations are adhered to
Skills & Experience
- Full availability Monday - Friday
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator
- Experience with load restraint
- Current forklift license
- Experience using an RF scanner
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
