Position Summary
The National Account Manager (NAM) position is a key contributor in delivering profitable growth for Energizer. The NAM plays a critical role in developing customer relationships at every level and additional business by strategically identifying and addressing opportunities of revenue, growth, profit, product distribution, merchandising, pricing and promotion.
The NAM will work cross functionally with internal teams to achieve stated business targets.
Responsibilities
Accountabilities:
- Achieves sales targets within designated classes of trade.
- Achieves profit to gross margin by customer and class of trade.
- Develops strong communication lines. Cross functionally.
- Develops and implements competitive customer specific business plans.
- Negotiates customer trading terms and promotional programs that deliver ROI positive outcomes whilst remaining competitive and controlling promotional spend.
- Implements Marketing Programs into customer specific plans.
- Prepares regular business analysis and reviews with each account.
- Develops and maintains a professional partnership with customers and is recognized as providing outstanding customer service.
- Ensures that the Company's products are appropriately presented on shelf based on corporate planogram principles.
- Ensures customer records are maintained.
- Assists in the development of sales forecasts.
- Constantly seeks new business opportunities.
What we are looking for
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous National Account Management experience in Consumer Goods min 18 months
- Experience with Circana or AC Nielsen
- Excellent command of English both spoken & written communication
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite including (Excel, Powerpoint, and Word)
- Strong analytical skills; can interpret data and present to stakeholders.
- Strong negotiating skills that have proven to deliver win-win outcomes.
