The Infection Management and Control Service (IMACS) is a team of experienced CNCs, managed by the IMACS Nurse Manager. IMACS CNCs each carry portfolios of responsibility defined by geographical or service-related location. The service is supported by administrative officers and there is a close working relationship with the infectious disease specialists, ISLHD Public Health Unit, and NSW Health Pathology.
