On offer is an opportunity for a Social Worker to join the NBMLHD Lithgow Hospital Team. This position is Temporary Full time up until May 2026. This position as well provides an outreach service to Portland Tabulam Aged Care Facility. The Physiotherapist will provide a high quality Physiotherapy services to clients of Lithgow Health Service. Your role includes clinical work in outpatient, inpatient, hydrotherapy, plaster room, emergency, and group environments.This role will have you maintain a professional approach by ensuring effective communication at all levels which will involve clients and carers in preparing for separation and referral to other services. Participation in performance development processes to contribute to own professional growth and service outcomes will see you actively participate in clinical supervision and complete activities associated with clinical supervision as negotiated with supervisor in order to develop and maintain professional skills and deliver high quality care.

What you will bring to the role
- Degree in Physiotherapy with Current Authority to practice as a physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated ability to provide high quality clinical care across a range of clinical areas.
- Demonstrated effective written & verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiar with and/or prepared to gain skills in splinting, casting, and hydrotherapy.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development, quality improvement and evidenced based practice.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own work/ caseload.
- Current licence to drive in NSW with the ability to drive for work purposes.
