The Company:
Talent Butler is proud to partner with a private property developer and investor to source a Development Manager to drive the delivery of a diverse range of projects including industrial, retail, hospitality, and land subdivisions. This growing company is financially stable and has created a reputation for delivering unique and prestigious developments throughout Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, and Hunter regions.
The Role:
This role will appeal to a Development Manager or Project Manager looking to transition and work on various projects across various asset classes. Reporting to the Head of Development, you will work across the development process including driving financial, marketing, design, planning, and delivery outcomes across the full development lifecycle.
In addition, you will manage all key project stakeholders, resolve planning issues, gain approvals at a local and state level, and ensure project delivery meets all key performance outcomes i.e. time, cost, and quality.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in property, architecture, construction management, engineering, or a related discipline;
  • Proven people management, stakeholder, and communication skills (written and verbal);
  • Ability to build networks with LGAs, Councils, and the wider building industry;
  • Ability to manage and deliver projects autonomously;
  • Manage leasing strategies and negotiations, ensuring optimal lease terms and tenant satisfaction. Leasing experience would be highly desirable but not essential;
  • Professional and highly driven individual with the ability to adapt to change and work effectively within a supportive and collaborative team environment;
