About the role
As the Business Office Manager at BM Doors', you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office and ensuring the smooth running of the business. This full-time position is based in Queanbeyan, NSW and plays a vital role in supporting the company's growth and success.
What you'll be doing
- Assist with financial tasks such as invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll processing (Knowledge and understanding of Accounts and MYOB)
- Assistance with the annual financial audit as required
- Analysis of business performance and development and implementation of business strategies
- Insurance – assisting and ensuring company insurance and renewals
- Manage business records and security of information
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
- Project Documentation and security clearances
- Tender business documentation as required
- ISO audit documentation, processes and audit
- Support and monitor the company's Health and Safety procedures and policies
- Support to all administration staff – Administrative, Project, Sales, Finance and Production
- Overseeing day-to-day administrative operations, assigning tasks and monitoring performance with the General Manager
- Provide staff training and support
- Manage office supplies and assets
- Develop systems and procedures for continual business efficiency and improvement
- Assist in organising labour hire, employment advertising, interviewing, staff documentation and inductions
What we're looking for
- Significant experience (5+ years) in a similar office management or administrative role
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organisation
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite and other office management software
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Flexible and adaptable, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach
- Knowledge of office administration procedures and best practices
