Your Role:
As a Safety & Rescue Trainer , you’ll be delivering and assessing a variety of industry courses, including:
- Confined Space
- Working at Heights
- First Aid (CPR, LVR, Advanced First Aid)
- Risk Management
- Vertical Rescue
- Basic Fire Fighting
- GWO Modules (BST, ART, EFA, IQT)
You’ll also:
✔ Mentor and support students new to the industry
✔ Ensure compliance by maintaining accurate student records and performing equipment checks
✔ Assist in course development and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For:
We want trainers who are:
- Qualified & Experienced – You must be current and competent in delivering at least two of the training areas listed above.
- Certified – Hold a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE 40122 or willingness to update)
- Competent in Relevant Nationally Recognised Training (NRT) Units, such as:
- CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (White Card)
- RIIWHS202E – Enter and work in confined spaces
- RIIWHS204E – Work safely at heights
- HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
- HLTAID014 – Provide Advanced First Aid
- PUASAR032 – Undertake Vertical Rescue
- PUAFER005-8 - Fire Warden, Chief Fire Warden & Basic Fire Fighting
- GWO BST, ART, EFA, IQT – Global Wind Organisation modules
- Safety-Focused – Have strong communication skills and a passion for workplace safety
- Independent & Team-Oriented – Can work autonomously while collaborating with colleagues
- Industry-Savvy – Experience in emergency response, high-risk industries, or the renewables/wind sector is a plus!
