About the Business Located in the heart of Broadbeach, Moo Moo The Wine Bar + Grill is a multi-award winning steak restaurant and one of Queensland’s premier restaurant venues. Since opening their doors in 2005, the Moo Moo team has built up excellent knowledge and relationships within the Australian Beef Industry, providing an exceptionally diverse menu of the highest quality, with cuts exclusive to the Moo Moo Restaurant Group. In light of our continued growth within the industry, and continually expanding venue, we are currently seeking an experienced Chef to join our team of professionals. Key Responsibilities Planning and organising the preparation of food. Monitoring quality of dishes and meals at all stages of preparation and presentation. Demonstrating effective cooking techniques and procedures. Preserving foods. Preparing and cooking food to a high standard. Qualifications, Skills and Experience The ideal candidate will possess the following: At least two (2) years of relevant experience within the hospitality industry. Specific experience as a Sous or Commis Chef is highly desired. Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is required. Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Job Type: Full-time Applications for this position will be accepted for four weeks.
