Are you passionate about food, thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, and want to be part of a dynamic team? We’re looking for a Full time Sous Chef or Chef de Partie to join our kitchen at Orion Hotel, a vibrant local venue known for great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a strong community focus.
What we are looking for:
- Creativity and passion for the industry
- Very strong planning and organisational skills
- Ensure full implementation of HACCP code of practice
- Prepare meals as per recipes in a timely manner
- Communication skills and ability to multi task
- Stock and wastage control
- Positive attitude and temperament
- Minimum three years working as a qualified chef
- Assist the Head chef in leading the team and by example
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- Hands on role includes food operations, training, compliance and food safety standards
Eligible to work in Australia on a Full time
This property is part of the Orion Shopping Centre and has a very busy Bistro consisting of the Spotted Gum inside dining, the outside terrace bar, and Functions area growing part of the Business.
The Menu consists of a mixture of Classic Pub Food. Pizzas, and a variety of styles from around Australia.
The Orion Hotel is part of the Aushotels Group.
