Risby Cove Boutique Accommodation and Restaurant is seeking an experienced and versatile Chefs for its hotel and award-winning restaurant in the picturesque village of Strahan, Tasmania. Located on the shore of magnificent Macquarie Harbour, Risby Cove has a reputation for offering the premier accommodation and dining experience in this popular tourism region.

Qualifications and skills:
• Certificate III, IV or Diploma in Commercial Cookery, or Degree in
Culinary Arts, or equivalent
• minimum 3 years’ experience in a high-end lodge or tourism resort
environment, including experience working and living in a remote
location
• excellent knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment and
kitchen operations, including a la carte and room service
• knowledge of food handling and storage standards and current
HACCAP procedures
• sound knowledge of current and emerging dining trends, including
special dietary requirements
• excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills in
relation to both co-workers and guests
• experience in fine dining and/or events would be highly desirable.
