The City of Launceston, an award winning Employer of Choice, is currently seeking to fill the following permanent full-time position:
Position Title: IT Business Applications Senior Support Analyst
Position Number: POS1079
This permanent full time position provides high level, reliable and effective service to our Technology and Information Services team.
This position is responsible for delivering a well-judged level of support to users of Council's corporate business applications across the organisation, as well as providing high quality guidance to other support officers within Technology and Information Services in relation to Corporate Applications.
We are looking for someone who demonstrates, through behaviour, an alignment and an understanding of our values and has the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Demonstrated communication and relationship building skills to deliver technical projects with a people orientated approach;
- Sound knowledge of relational database principles, skills in SQL, reporting and data tools;
- Demonstrated ability to analyse, develop and implement technical solutions that improve business processes;
- Knowledge of APIs, external service interfaces and web frameworks; and
- Ability to be flexible and work collaboratively with a team to deliver solutions, in a rapidly changing environment.
