Description:
Are you an Occupational Therapist looking for a change?
Perhaps you want to choose your own hours, work close to home, dream of a variety in your caseload… to be rewarded with pay that's well above average…
We want you!
Full-time Occupational Therapist Opportunity working across the Adelaide Hills and southern suburbs of Adelaide…
Who we are:
SA Homecare Therapies is one of SA's fastest-growing teams of mobile physiotherapists, occupational therapists, podiatrists, and dietitians.
Working predominantly with the older population and Home Care Package Coordinators across all Metropolitan and Adelaide Hills regions, our goal is to help people stay happy and healthy at home.....whether it's a house, apartment, retirement village, or residential aged care facility.
The Opportunity
You will work closely with home care providers and our clients to make the most out of a person's current living situation, whilst assisting them to regain function and independence.
No two days will be the same as you provide mobile community care to clients whilst undertaking assessments and making recommendations for our clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Undertake independent home safety assessments or individual assessments to meet specific referral criteria.
- Recommend and assess for suitable aids, adaptive equipment, and home modifications (where required) to help patients stay happy and healthy at home.
What We Offer:
With our team choosing the hours and days they work from Monday to Saturday, during and after business hours, we aim to provide flexibility. Whether you want to study, work around school hours, work after hours, business hours or anything in between we will accommodate your requirements.
This is perfect for individuals looking for a better work/life balance, or those keen for variety and the ability to work “outside of the same four walls”!
We asked some of our wonderful OTs the benefits of working for SAHCT.
The most common answers included:
