Remote Work with Independence: As a fully remote role, you’ll have flexibility in your schedule working autonomously from your home office, but we do have structured expectations to align with clients in the US/UK/SG/HK/UAE and internal teams.

- Dedicated Admin Team: Handles compliance, documentation, and loan processing.
- Marketing & Lead Gen Team: Provides 60-100 pre-qualified leads per month, with additional leads available for proactive brokers.
- Sales Development Team: Schedules appointments and nurtures leads, so you spend more time closing deals.
- Tech-Enabled Operations: Work seamlessly with tools like HubSpot, FrontApp, GSuite, and Slack for maximum efficiency.
Exciting Client Base: Specialise in helping high-net-worth expat clients navigate complex, non-resident mortgage scenarios. 80% of our leads are Australian expats, 20% are foreign nationals. 80% are PAYG, 20% are self-employed. 90% are residential investment purposes.

About The Role
You’ll be working as an expat mortgage specialist at Odin Mortgage in Australia, collaborating with our global team to deliver exceptional service to clients. Your responsibilities will include:
Sales and Client Advisory:
- Handle warm, fully-qualified leads passed directly to you.
- Provide expert credit advice and guide clients through their mortgage journey from initial inquiry to submission.
- Offer tailored solutions for expat and non-resident clients based overseas. Leveraging your expertise in expatriate credit policies, and non-residency tax implications.
- Meet KPI objectives, such as:
- # of meetings taken and the meeting outcomes
- # of fact-finds done on call
- # of document collection portal sent
- # of application forms signed
- # of application submissions
Collaboration:
- Work closely with support teams in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Offshore to process loans efficiently.
- Maintain open communication via Slack, email, and video calls.
- There are daily sales huddles, weekly broker meetings, and monthly / quarterly company meetings held online.
Relationship Management:
- Build trust and rapport with clients over phone, video call, text and email, ensuring their needs are met.
- Deliver a white-glove experience for high-net-worth clients, meeting their expectations for clarity, speed, and professionalism.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Accurately document client interactions and maintain a clear pipeline in our CRM - we use HubSpot. Our aggregator is Finsure.
- Stay updated on Australian mortgage regulations, Australian property market, and lender requirements.
Requirements
Experience:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Australian mortgage broking, lending, or finance.
- Has worked with high net worth individuals.
- Previous exposure to expat, foreign income or non-resident lending is a bonus (not required).
Skills:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills to provide accurate credit, general tax & finance advice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly over phone, video calls, text and email.
- Excellent sales skills, and proven ability to close.
- Strong technical mortgage knowledge regarding product, policy, and processes.
- High degree of self-motivation, resourcefulness, discipline, and accountability to work autonomously.
Qualifications:
- Certificate IV or Diploma (ideal) in Mortgage and Finance Broking.
Expected Settlement Figures
These figures are based on our lowest performer (for context, he’s in his late 20s, English as second language, non-Australian individual, with half the leads provided). This can serve as a reference of how your earnings could grow over time.
The successful candidate would be expected to exceed these numbers.
Year 1:
$32M in settlements | OTE: $110K–$130K
Year 2:
$65M in settlements | OTE: $170K–$190K
Year 3:
$100M in settlements | OTE: $250K–$280K
