Job description: ABOUT THE POSITION Our business seeks an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join our team permanently, working at our Kwinana Refinery. The roster will be an even-time, sportsman continuous days roster (5/5/4). The successful applicant will be responsible for safely executing the maintenance plan including ensuring the safety of all people in the refinery, leading and developing the mechanical maintenance team, executing corrective and preventative maintenance, while driving a culture of continuous improvement through effective problem-solving, minimising cost, and maximising effectiveness. Profile description:DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Commitment to ensuring a safe environment for all our people. Ensure personnel, including contractors, safely risk assess, and isolate plant and equipment, following PTW requirements. Manage and supervise all maintenance team members and contractors conducting maintenance works in the plant. Work with the planning team to ensure all work planned is organised, and all the resources and materials are accounted for. Responsible for executing all breakdown and planned work. Responsible for executing all shutdown work as allocated by the shutdown team. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suitable and approved vendors and suppliers. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all events and hazards and participate in workplace investigations or observations as required. Ensure a high standard of housekeeping for plant, equipment, stores, and tools. Ensure compliance with SAP processes for work execution and capture related transactional data into the SAP system, raising new notifications, entering history for all completed works, raising purchase and service requisitions for emergent work and providing and support as requested with invoice SES. Support with a review of costs associated with maintenance and repairs, identifying discrepancies and cost-saving opportunities. Support, where applicable, with updating work and asset records, Participate in planning, preparation, and scoping of corrective work to facilitate the planning process. Assisting, where applicable, with data support for SAP master data updates. Participate in a team environment committed to achieving the business objectives. Actively promote and embrace TLEA culture and values.. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Mechanical Trade Certificate. Relevant maintenance experience in fixed plant processing. Relevant experience coordinating and supervising teams, including contractors. Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills. Committed and practical approach to safety and wellbeing of all staff. Ability to engage and communicate clearly with the team and liaise with all levels of the organisation. Strong collaboration and teamwork skills. Ability to prioritise and complete multiple tasks. Excellent stakeholder engagement attributes and an inclusive and open style. Sound experience with SAP, MS Office including Word, EXCEL and MS Project. Current ‘C’ Class drivers’ licence. DESIRABLE Frontline leadership qualification. Authorised / Supervised Gas Fitter certificate. High Risk Licence - forklift, EWP, dogging and/or rigging. National accreditation Confined Space. National accreditation Working at Heights.
