Trainer – Vocational Education & Training

Full-time | Permanent | Perth-based | Some travel required

Schrole, now part of Tes, is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering high-quality qualifications in Training & Education, Workplace Health & Safety, and Leadership & Management. We’re looking for a motivated Trainer to join our team and help professionals grow their skills and knowledge.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Delivering Schrole’s training courses in an engaging and effective way.

  • Supporting students to achieve competency standards and career success.

  • Keeping accurate records of student performance and assessments.

  • Working with clients to gather feedback and identify growth opportunities.

  • Collaborating with the Manager of Teaching & Learning to maintain up-to-date and relevant course materials.

  • Staying current with VET standards through ongoing professional development.

What we’re looking for:

  • A passionate trainer who loves helping others learn and grow.

  • Someone with strong facilitation and delivery skills.

  • An empathetic and engaging approach to training.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

  • A commitment to compliance and quality training practices.

  • The ability to travel by car and plane to client sites, sometimes overnight or for a couple of days at a time.

  • Must have valid working rights in Australia.

Qualifications & experience (must have or be working towards):

  • TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.

  • TAE50111/TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education & Training OR TAE50211/TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design & Development.

  • Experience in delivering training within the VET sector.

  • WHS qualifications (BSB51319 Certificate IV WHS or specific WHS units) is preferred.
