Description:
We're looking for a reliable, tech-savvy Administrative Officer to join our small, hardworking team. This role is varied and hands-on, supporting everything from member services and event coordination to general administration and communications.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting our members via phone, email and online—customer service is key.
- Assisting with marketing and communications—creating newsletters, updating the website, and helping with social media.
- Providing general office admin support.
- Helping deliver education training and events—organising venues, tracking attendance, sending certificates, and liaising with presenters.
- Supporting the smooth running of our conferences and special events.
- Helping manage accounts payable/receivable, basic payroll support, and reconciliation tasks.
- Working with the CEO to help deliver on our strategic ambitions.
You might be just who we're after if you:
- Are confident using Microsoft 365, and have experience with XERO.
- Have a good understanding of social media, marketing or events.
- Love a checklist, are a natural problem-solver, and can work well both independently and in a small team.
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Have an interest in technology and lean in to AI
- Bring experience in education/training or not-for-profits (a bonus, but not essential).
- Have some knowledge of or interest in conveyancing (again—bonus points, not a dealbreaker).
About AICWA
The Australian Institute of Conveyancers WA Division Inc (AICWA) serves as the peak industry body representing settlement agents in Western Australia. Established to promote and protect the interests of the conveyancing profession, AICWA engages with government bodies, financial institutions, and other stakeholders within the real estate industry to ensure that the perspectives and needs of settlement agents are considered in relevant discussions and policy-making processes.
In addition to its advocacy efforts, AICWA is committed to the professional development of its members. The institute provides training and educational opportunities, disseminates industry information through various channels, and maintains a roster of councillors available to assist members with queries. Annually, AICWA hosts a state conference that brings together members, sponsors, and industry stakeholders to discuss matters impacting the conveyancing profession, fostering a collaborative environment for continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

We’re offering a salary between $65,000 and $85,000 + super, commensurate with your experience and the value you bring to the role.
