About the Role
Our team at the Depot in Osborne Park is seeking a skilled Administration Officer allrounder to join us.
Reporting to the Depot Operation Supervisor, our Administration Officer will:
- Provide exceptional customer service skills to our internal and external customers.
- Attend to depot enquiries both at the front counter, email, and incoming telephone calls.
- Carrying out of stock checks/stocktakes, ordering/issuing stock and keying in stores requisitions
- Assist with the procurement of goods and services for Depot Operations
- Assist with the receival and dispatch of materials
- Reconciling Creditor Statements as required
- Assist with maintaining a safe yard area
- Maintain registers and databases, input data and prepare statistical reports
- Prepare correspondence, and other documents as required.
What are we looking for?
To be successful in this role you will need:
We are seeking a candidate for the Depot administration role who has prior experience in administration and enjoys working with financial figures. The ideal candidate should possess qualities of taking initiative, establishing and managing productive relationships with diverse stakeholders, and exhibit a positive and cooperative attitude with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer literacy and keyboard skills
- Sound knowledge of purchasing protocols and processing is desirable
- Knowledge of store functions including stock control is desirable but not essential
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in an administration or finance field
- General experience in areas of enquires and complaints
- Previous experience with local government is desirable but not essential
Qualifications and/or Training:
- Year 12 or equivalent
- Current ‘C” Class Driver’s Licence
- Current Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain)
- Front end loader licence (or willingness to obtain)
