Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our growing team as a Commercial and Accounts Manager. This role will be multi-faceted and will require a flexible approach and a willingness to get involved with all aspects of the medicinal cannabis business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier & Client Relations : Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, wholesalers and pharmacies to ensure a smooth flow of products and services.
- Marketing & Business Development : Undertake marketing initiatives to promote product awareness and support the development of new business opportunities.
- Inventory Management : Track, reconcile and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring sufficient stock levels and efficient order fulfilment for our distribution partners.
- Logistics Coordination : Oversee and coordinate logistics for product movements, ensuring timely delivery and smooth supply chain operations.
- Product Collateral : Prepare and update product collateral, including promotional materials, product information and pricing details to maximise awareness.
- Quality Control : Assist senior team members with quality control processes, helping ensure that products meet compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
- Financial Oversight : Monitor accounts, track financial transactions and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Reporting & Analysis : Provide regular reports on sales, inventory, and financial performance to the management team.
Qualifications and Key Skills
- A commerce, marketing or business degree or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in a commercial, accounts, or operations management role, preferably in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or consumer goods sectors.
- Solid understanding of business development, marketing and sales strategies.
- Ability to track and analyse financial data, inventory levels, and sales performance.
- Familiarity with logistics, supply chain management and quality control processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, organisation and multitasking ability.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A general understanding of the medicinal cannabis industry is desirable. An interest in learning more about the industry is required.
