Are you a skilled HA Electrician looking to be part of an exciting, large-scale renewable energy project? Join our dynamic team in the Pilbara, WA, and contribute to one of the most innovative energy initiatives in the region.
About the Role
We are seeking experienced HA Electricians to assist in the construction and commissioning of a landmark renewable energy project.
Starting in April 2025 , this role is ideal for professionals with expertise in hazardous area installations and industrial or construction environments, particularly within the energy sector.
What We Offer
  • FIFO Roster : 2 weeks on, 1 week off.
  • Start Date : April 2025.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in hazardous areas.
  • Monitor and address equipment degradation, ensuring compliance with hazardous area classifications (Zone 0, Zone 1, Zone 2).
  • Execute high- and low-voltage cable installations, cable management, and equipment installation.
  • Perform switchboard installations, HV switching, and distribution network upgrades.
  • Implement and uphold rigorous safety protocols to mitigate risks in hazardous environments.
  • Maintain detailed records, including hazardous area equipment schedules and inspection logs.
  • Ensure all work aligns with local and international standards (e.g., AS/NZS 60079).
Qualifications and Skills
  • Australian Electrical Trade Qualification.
  • EEHA Certification (Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas).
  • Proven experience working in hazardous environments.
  • Must have experience working on major construction projects
  • WA Electrical License (or willingness to obtain)
  • White Card and valid Driver’s License
  • Strong understanding of safety standards and hazardous area regulations.
  • Experience with gas detection systems and emergency shutdown protocols.
