Job Summary:
The Club Supervisor plays a crucial role in providing exceptional service and support to members of Lawson Flats. This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, meeting rooms, events & classes - ensuring that members' needs are met, and their experiences are enjoyable and memorable. The Club Supervisor will drive the team to maintain high standards of service delivery and foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all club members.

Lawson Flats is a club, but not really a club. We are a place for creative, engaged and inspired members to collaborate, eat, drink, party, workout, sit back and relax. More literally we are a private members social club in the heart of Perth with a library/coworking space, games room, karaoke room, private dining room, restaurant/bar, plus two gym spaces, a sauna, a couple of ice baths, and a public art gallery run with everchanging exhibitions. Key Responsibilities:
Relations:
- Build strong relationships with members, understanding their preferences and needs.
- Ensure members feel welcomed and remembered by name.
- Train the team to use People Vine for member insights.
- Respond promptly to inquiries, feedback, and resolve issues.
- Stay informed on club facilities, events, and programs to guide members.
- Encourage member participation in menus, specials, and events.
- Ensure excellent service delivery and team performance.
Operational Management:
- Supervise and coordinate floor operations.
- Support staff onboarding and rostering.
- Conduct bi-daily briefings with the team and set goals.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain the appropriate ambiance and service standards.
- Manage daily reporting (sales, customer experience, staffing).
Team Management:
- Support team cohesion and efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to service standards and company policies.
- Foster a positive work environment and maintain communication with the kitchen.
Experience:
- Proven experience as an assistant manager, duty manager, or supervisor preferably in a high-end or members-only setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including trends and best practices.
- You know your way around a coffee machine, a pro of everything daytime hospitality related.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and restaurant management software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
