About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Maintenance Fitter to join our team based at our Hope Valley site.
Main responsibilities of this role include:
* Undertake maintenance activities including scheduled/preventative maintenance and breakdown responses, to optimise operational outcomes and mitigate risks in accordance with company policy
* Collaborate with Production functions to schedule maintenance work for optimal customer outcomes
* Conduct plant and workshop inspections in line with approved safety, hazard, and hygiene practices
* Complete maintenance records and documentation promptly and accurately
* Identify and escalate issues promptly to the manager for effective solutions
* Optimise interfaces between different work areas
* Continually seek improvements across maintenance activities
About you
As an experienced and professional Maintenance Fitter, we are looking for the following qualities:
* Relevant trade qualification required (e.g. Mechanical Fitter & Turner)
* Prior maintenance experience in the Feed or Food manufacturing sector (FMCG) with feed milling equipment
* Extensive fault-finding and problem-solving expertise
* Ability to handle difficult problems with a logical and systematic approach
* Good understanding of and commitment to health and safety work practices
* Valid WA driver's licence
* Restricted Electrical Licence is desirable (manufacturing equipment)
