We are seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to take on a key role in managing both our internal warehousing and logistics operations, as well as overseeing our third-party logistics (3PL) partners. This full-time permanent position will report directly to the General Manager and is perfect for a proactive leader with experience in warehouse management, logistics coordination, and third-party logistics relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Management : Oversee all warehouse functions, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and dispatch to ensure optimal efficiency and accuracy.
Logistics Operations : Manage logistics operations, including transportation, route planning, and on-time delivery management. Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure the timely movement of goods.
3PL Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics providers, ensuring they meet performance standards for on-time deliveries, cost efficiency, and quality service.
Inventory Control : Manage and monitor inventory levels, perform stock takes, cycle counts, and ensure accuracy in stock tracking across both the warehouse and 3PL systems.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination : Liaise with suppliers, external storage providers, and transport companies to resolve any delivery, quality, or service issues promptly.
Team Leadership : Lead, train, and motivate both warehouse and logistics staff to maintain a high level of productivity, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Food Safety Compliance : Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and standards (HACCP), monitor temperature controls, hygiene practices, and product handling throughout the warehouse and logistics process.
Health & Safety Compliance : Ensure that all warehouse and logistics operations comply with health and safety regulations.
Equipment Management : Oversee the maintenance and management of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and loading systems.
Required Qualifications and Skills :
Proven experience in warehouse management, logistics and 3PL.
Experience with inventory management, stock control, and warehouse management systems.
Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including transportation, route planning, and managing third-party logistics providers.
Understanding of food safety regulations (HACCP) and the ability to implement and enforce food safety practices across warehouse and logistics functions.
Current forklift ticket with experience operating warehouse equipment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for liaising with suppliers, transport providers, and internal stakeholders.
Ability to analyse data and generate actionable insights to improve operations.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle operational challenges efficiently.
Computer literate with experience in warehouse management and logistics software.
