DescriptionWe currently have an opportunity for a Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies (RAID) Manager . Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia’s future.
What You’ll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
- Monitor and manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and frameworks.
- Conduct regular risk reviews, facilitate Risk Review Boards, and maintain project risk registers.
- Develop, implement, and refine risk management, business continuity, and crisis management processes.
- Provide risk-related insights, reporting, and trend analyses to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Coach and mentor project teams on risk management best practices.
- Ensure clear and effective communication of risk-related matters across all levels of the organization.
What You’ll Bring
- Familiarity with risk and project management tools and frameworks.
- Understanding of ISO standards (ISO 31000, ISO 9001).
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the Defence or professional services industries.
- Hold and maintain a minimum NV1 as required by the Commonwealth
