Service Delivery Coordinator
WeKare Disability Services is seeking a motivated, caring and organised Service Delivery Coordinator for our brand-new Alice Spring office. An ability to concentrate and perform several tasks at once is essential.
Coordinating delivery of services to NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) participants in an efficient and professional manner. Coordinators act as the hub between participants and supports, ensuring that participant needs are met, and services are delivered to meet a high standard of customer satisfaction.
We are currently offering 3 days a week to start, with opportunity for more hours and upward progression within the organisation. Furthermore, you must be available to work from 9am - 5pm.

Key duties include:
- Supporting the setup of a new office in Alice Springs.
- Networking with the local community and service providers.
Marketing and promoting our new services, which include:
- Therapeutic Residential Facilities
- Community Participation
- Short-Term Accommodation (STA) & Medium-Term Accommodation (MTA)
- Occupational Therapy (OT) Supports
- Behaviour Supports
- Speech and other Allied Health Supports
Additional duties include:
- You will be required to compile rosters and resolve staffing issues which arise in delivering services to disabled people. Some experience in disability services is preferred but not required.
- Answering enquiries (via telephone and e-mail) and assisting clients in gaining the best outcomes from NDIS participation.
- Becoming familiar with all aspects of the NDIS in order to perform your duties in this role.
- Upholding the reputation of our organisation in all communications and protecting the privacy of participants.
- Responding to or directing inquiries to the appropriate staff for action in an expedient fashion.
- Organising, collating and protecting data of participants and employees.
- Rostering suitable support staff for participants and maintaining those rosters.
- Informing HR of staffing requirements to ensure stable staffing and continuous services.
- Covering shifts when cancellations occur due to illness or injury & informing participants of cancellations or changes to services.
- Manage support staff to encourage positive behavioural support strategies in line with participant goals & enforce ethical boundaries.
- Record and report as per the directives of the supervising Service Delivery Co-ordinator.
- Maintain a high standard of care at all times for participants within the NDIS guidelines and procedures.
- Report incidences of concern to supervisor immediately for instruction and follow-up.
- Undertake tasks (under supervision) in support of Support Coordination Team as directed by supervisor
- Fulfill other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested / required.
Person Specification
Qualifications • Certificates, Diplomas or Degrees in Disability Support, Aged Care and Community Services are highly regarded.
- A current Certification in First Aid, including CPR training, is required to support vulnerable individuals.
- Working With Children Check is essential to the position as Support Workers are required to be in frequent contact with minors as participants or relatives of participants.
- NDIS clearance is required to protect vulnerable persons requiring support.
- National Criminal History Check is required to assure all participants of their safety in dealing with NDIS providers.
- Evidence of eligibility to work within Australia.
- A current driver’s license is desirable (and in most cases necessary).
- National Police Check
- Driver's Licence
