About The Role

The Assistant Development Manager role will support the implementation and delivery of projects and the expansion of the property pipeline. The role will require frequent coordination across multiple workstreams, internal team and stakeholders providing good overall exposure and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist development projects to align with business strategy, cost forecasts and timelines.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinates with internal and external teams to manage project execution, approvals, and quality control.
  • Assists with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and consultant/contractor payments.
  • Supports project planning, tender analysis, and cost documentation.
  • Manages (with supervision) consultant teams and authority approvals.
  • Contributes to design, planning, sales, leasing, marketing, and delivery processes.
  • Prepares internal and external reports including recommendations, acquisition, project control group and sales and leasing proposals.
  • Handles administrative and marketing tasks related to sales, marketing, and construction phases.

About You

You will be a results-oriented individual with an interest in property and construction, development, possessing an understanding of project lifecycles. economics and market dynamics. Strong in stakeholder management and communication, you will excel at collaboration and coordination. Willingness to deliver high-quality developments, you will demonstrate a commitment to strategic planning and excellence in execution. You may demonstrate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Property Economics, Construction Management, Engineering, Urban Planning, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience preferred in property development, construction, project management, engineering, real estate, or a desire to kick start your property journey
  • Knowledge of development processes, feasibility studies, and regulatory approvals.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a drive to learn.
  • MS Suite proficiency is required, including Microsoft Project
