The Role

The Senior Analyst, Mandates is responsible for supporting the Head of Funds Management and the Mandate Manager to achieve or exceed the performance objectives of the Mandates, through timely and insightful analysis, communication and investment decision making.

• Develop and maintain constructive working relationships within ISPT, with joint venture partners and Mandate investors, to optimise Mandate decision making, performance and exercise of delegations.
• Manage all financial models for Mandates. Run sensitivities around capital management, capital transactions, development activity, macro-economic and real estate market factors.
• Review and assist with model integrity assessment for project feasibilities, developments, capital transactions or major refurbishment investments to assess the impact on returns.
• Work on ad hoc assignments and financial models for Mandate clients and display a keen interest in global real estate markets to provide insights on relative real estate value to those clients.
• Collaborate with ISPT Capital Transaction team modelling complex scenarios and options to ensure decisions are in line with the Mandate’s investment objectives.
• Partner with sector, valuations, market, performance and finance teams refining portfolio analytical tools and integration of data and analytics into investment decision making and capital management.

Your Background and Experience

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Valuations, Engineering, Economics, Commerce, Finance or similar discipline.
• Strong financial modelling expertise with at least two years of experience in undertaking advanced financial analysis.
• Interest in applying qualifications and experience to significant operational and capital investment decisions relating to real estate.
• Naturally curious but importantly translates this curiosity into ideas and superior outcomes.
• A self-starter – someone who understands the role in the context of the team and actively delivers valuable outcomes to improve efficiencies and the quality of investment decisions.
• Demonstrated experience writing, coordinating and project managing assignments and investment papers. Exceptional quality writing skills are mandatory.
