The Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for a motivated Site Engineer to join our team. With your expertise, you will direct, control and administer projects to ensure they are successfully delivered on time and within budget. Your strength lies in planning and scheduling construction activities, as well as supervising and coordinating resources to drive projects from inception to completion. With your expertise, you will supervise and coordinate all resources (both internal & contractors) and also provide financial assessments to ensure planning and budgeting activities meet corporate goals.
This position is further supported by our talented team of people including Project Managers, Supervisors and Field Crew. This role will be based out of our head office in Girraween.
You will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical), Construction Management or equivalent
- 3-7 years’ experience in Civil Construction with a focus on Project Management and Contracts Management
- Exceptional technical skills and problem solving ability
- Strong Project Management capabilities
- Experience managing daily on-site activities and the ability to resolve issues that may arise
- Computer literacy with project management systems and software (Excel, MS Project, CAD)
- Exposure to rail/road culverts, wastewater, stormwater and/or potable water networks is beneficial to the role
