Are you a skilled IT Analyst looking for a role where your technical expertise directly supports young people in need? At The Burdekin Association, we provide housing, support, and community intervention services to children and young people (aged 9-24 at intake). As an IT Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure to ensure seamless service delivery.
About the Role
As our IT Analyst, you will work closely with the IT Manager to analyze, maintain, and improve information systems. Your expertise will help shape IT strategies, enhance security, and optimize processes, ensuring our team has the tools they need to support young people effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Work with internal teams to resolve IT issues and improve system efficiency.
Maintain and upgrade existing IT systems and provide user training.
Support cloud migration strategies and optimize Azure infrastructure.
Develop and document IT solutions, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Manage endpoint security solutions and liaise with third-party service providers.
Analyze business processes to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
Lead and contribute to IT projects, including Client Management System implementation.
About You
✔ Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
✔ 3+ years of experience in an IT Analyst role.
✔ Microsoft Certification, CompTIA A+, Network+ preferred.
✔ Strong experience with Office 365, PowerShell, Azure AD, Azure Security & Compliance.
✔ Knowledge of cloud best practices and IT infrastructure.
✔ Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
✔ ITIL Foundation knowledge and experience in community services (desirable).
