About the role
Estia Health Kangaroo Flat is a welcoming aged care home situated on a quiet street near the town center, within walking distance to public transport. The 144 bed home offers a range of care services, including short-term respite, long-term care, dementia care, and palliative care. Residents enjoy comfortable indoor and outdoor common areas, a hairdressing salon, games room with a pool table, and a chapel.
Join us as a Residential Aged Care Manager , where you’ll lead a dedicated team in providing exceptional care and creating a warm, supportive environment for residents, families, and staff. This is a rewarding leadership role where you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact—driving quality care, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring the smooth operation of our home. Each day will be spent creating a home residents love, as you lead your team in delivering care second to none. Your role sees you:
- Finding the best way forward for our residents and people.
- Ensuring smooth operations by maintaining efficiency and upholding operational safety standards.
- Ensuring business continuity while achieving revenue targets.
- Inspiring your team to perform and grow.
- Strengthening community connections for mutual benefit.
You’ll be a strong business leader with commercial acumen and a generous style of management. You’ll also have:
- A background in aged or medical care
- Spent at least five years in a management role
- A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives
- Worked with a number of different systems
