About the Role:
We are seeking a Learning and Development Manager to develop, manage, deliver, and assess current and future learning and development programs. This role is pivotal in ensuring our workforce remains highly skilled and competent. You will be responsible for creating nationally coordinated learning pathways, developing training plans, managing a team of trainers, and working closely with core business managers to align training with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage learning and development pathways for Oceania staff.
- Create and implement national training plans within allocated budgets.
- Manage a team of trainers and coordinators to achieve common training goals.
- Plan and guide training and assessment requirements with core business managers.
- Develop and manage the training department budget, ensuring cost efficiency.
About You:
We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in learning and development, ideally with experience in managing training programs across multiple business areas. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, and a passion for fostering employee growth and development.
Preferred Candidate:
- Extensive experience in an L&D or Training role, particularly within complex structures
- Previous experience with heavy equipment or automotive-related manufacturers is highly desirable.
- Cert IV in Workplace Training & Assessment (essential).
- Higher qualification in Vocational Education & Training (preferential).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective training programs.
- Familiarity with budget management and cost-saving strategies.
