About the opportunities

Join the AMC’s Accreditation Section in these newly created positions, which play an integral role in the successful running and operation of their respective team. In the section, there are four small teams with responsibility for the stages of medical education – primary medical programs (medical schools), prevocational and specialty training as well as a team responsible for undertaking accreditation assessments. Role focus areas include, but are not limited to:

  • Policy and process development.
  • Governance management.
  • Stakeholder engagement.
  • Program coordination and management.
  • Committee administration.

About you

We are seeking motivated candidates who demonstrate a strong alignment to the AMC’s values, committed to ensuring culturally safe practices are embedded through all of your work and maintaining a high degree of professionalism, communication and attention to detail. The full selection criteria are as outlined in the position description (including the below):

  • Minimum one year experience relevant to the role/key results areas (required).
  • Flexibility for interstate travel and occasional extended hours (required).
  • Program/project coordination and stakeholder engagement experience (desirable).
  • Involvement in developing training workshops, conferences (desirable).
  • Knowledge of the Australian health care system and/or the regulation, and/or health profession education and training, and/or organisation of medical practice (desirable).
