The Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) is the state's peak body for lawyers. Representing more than 20,000 members the LIV's purpose is to foster the rule of law and to promote improvements and developments in the law as it affects the public of Victoria. The LIV is a non-profit organisation dedicated to its members and the development, maintenance and the sustenance of the law for the benefit of the community.
About the role:
The Program Coordinator is responsible for the effective delivery and support for all elements of the Accredited Specialisation Scheme. The role is expected to focus on the coordination of the candidate and member experience of the program, coordinate assessment delivery, troubleshoot, analyse, and plan to deliver high quality, value, accurate service and advice to support continual improvement and best practice in certification.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Planning and coordinating all assessment program logistics including assessment development, publishing, delivery, marking and committee engagement
- Support the Accredited Specialisation Board and Advisory Committees through planning and support to ensure effective delivery of the Accredited Specialisation Scheme
- Coordinate and provide oversight for all enrolment enquiries, applications, and ongoing maintenance requirements serving as an escalation point as required
- Collaborate to design and circulate all candidate communications including confirmations, weekly candidate newsletters, exam preparation webinars, exam information and results information
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design effective marketing initiatives to attract candidates to the program
- Respond to assessment and program issues as they arise
- Coordination of member quality assurance and compliance requirements relating to the scheme
To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:
- A focus on the student learning experience and service to ensure learning support and success
- Demonstrated experience in managing and driving education projects and/or programs
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- Effective analytical skill and ability to translate to the context and environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines.
Qualifications
Essential: University degree, ideally with a Qualifications in Professional Development or Education (Cert IV in Training and Assessment)
Desirable: Business or legal qualifications
The LIV offers a flexible and hybrid working arrangement (WFH 2-3 days per week)
