About the opportunity
The Product Manager – Insurer Solutions actively contributes within the Steadfast Insurtech team on Projects and Portfolio initiatives that bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The Steadfast Insurtech environment comprises of INSIGHT and the SCTP (Steadfast Client Trading Platform) plus other associated applications. INSIGHT is a broking application used by brokers to operate their business and the SCTP is used by brokers for contestable quoting and placement of policies.
The Insurtech projects will involve the implementation of strategic deliverables to modernise Steadfast platforms, resulting in increased usage, scalability and efficiency of usage and ongoing management. The role works closely with the delivery team to clearly drive product strategy to manage and develop products or services through their full life cycle that meet business needs and deliver value-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
- Product Lifecycle Management oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch and beyond.
- Market Analysis conduct thorough market research to identify trends and opportunities with insurer distribution solutions.
- Product Development be part of cross-functional delivery teams.
- Product implementations assist with launch collateral and training material for insurer distributed solutions.
- Customer Focus build strong relationships with users and insurer partners, and act as an escalation point for any product queries relating to the insurer distribution solutions from our brokers/insurers.
- Technical expertise stays up to date with industry advancements and provide thought leadership/technical support on insurer solutions.
Skills and Knowledge
- Prior exposure to the Insurance Industry is preferred.
- Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and colleagues, working as a peer providing advice and support.
- Advanced problem-solving skills to understand, resolve, communicate, and deliver innovative solutions.
- Experience with tools and systems such as Jira, Confluence, Fresh Works.
- Sophisticated stakeholder communication and collaboration capabilities, across all levels.
- Strong experience with Agile, Waterfall and hybrid project management and delivery practices.
- Confidently converse with Technology peers in technology focused discussion.
