Policy Governance Lead

About the Role:
Exciting opportunity for a Policy Governance Lead, you will collaborate with and upskill the business in best practice policy governance and document management. You will drive document quality and consistency, oversee policy and procedure development, manage the document lifecycle, and ensure best practice in document storage.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the controlled documents framework.
Manage documentation through the document lifecycle, including review schedules.
Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to develop and standardise documents.
Support stakeholders in developing and reviewing policies, procedures, guidelines, forms, and tools.
Maintain the document control register.
Oversee the document management system on the intranet.
Propose improvements for content management system capabilities.
Ensure the security, accessibility, and proper distribution of documents.
Ensure policy and procedure content is well-written and consistent.
Reference relevant accreditation standards, legislation, and contractual obligations.
Monitor changes in legislation and industry standards impacting policies and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent policy and procedure writing and editing skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Strong formatting skills.
Highly motivated, organised, with excellent time management and attention to detail.
Understanding of compliance, risk, and document management frameworks.
Ability to learn about legislative and regulatory obligations.
Well-developed research skills.
Process-driven with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
National Criminal History Check (current Police Check), NDIS Worker Check, and Working with Children Check.
