A day in the life of our Senior Chef is incredibly diverse, and you can expect it will involve some of the following responsibilities:
- Maintain a proactive approach to safety
- Engage in the implementation of Food Safety and HACCP program within Wyvern and Spotless.
- Implement and manage the business production within budget, while maintaining a high level of product quality and safety.
- Sustain relationships with key suppliers and Wyvern Private Hospital staff.
- Available Monday – Saturday to cover lunch and dinner service.
- $73,200 + super
What you’ll bring
- 3 years minimum of previous experience within a professional commercial kitchen in, such as: functions and events, 5-star hotel, a la carte restaurant, education, health and/or aged care - within HACCP certified environment is preferred.
- Classic and modern food processing technique, bulk cooking and/or a la carte
- Current Food Handlers Certificate or NSW Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Certificate III – Commercial Cookery or equivalent
