Job Overview
The Senior Portfolio Manager positions sits within the Lending team. Trilogy Funds is one of the largest non-bank lenders in the property development market, having specialised in mid-market construction deals for over 20 years on the eastern seaboard. This is an opportunity to align your network and join a growing team under great leadership with a respected brand.
The Senior Portfolio Manager will be required to source and manage new commercial property.
Responsibilities
• Seek and secure new lending opportunities via relationships with developers, brokers, valuers and other external sources.
• Recommend service providers for lending and to provide relevant submissions to the Chief Risk Officer
• Negotiate terms, conditions and pricing of facilities with Borrowers.
• Oversee the preparation of loan submissions for presentation to the Lending Committee.
• Manage loan from approval to settlement, construction drawdowns and then repayment including dealing with & instructing all professionals e.g. Valuer, QS, Engineers & solicitors.
• Monitor ongoing covenants to ensure loans are compliant with policies and procedures.
• Build rapport and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with all members of the Lending team to assist in meeting all team goals.
• Report to the Executive, Lending, Treasury and Work out Committees and the Board.
• Responsibilities and duties may be varied by Executive Director – Lending & Property Assets and the Managing Director.
Skills and Experience
• 5-10 + years’ experience in commercial property development lending
• Strong professional services and broker networks
• Exceptional credit knowledge and experience
• A proactive approach and team first mentality
