About the role
The Senior Coordinator Web Copywriter plays a key role in delivering high-quality digital content for Destination NSW’s consumer websites, VisitNSW.com and Sydney.com. Supporting the Digital Content and Publishing Manager, this role ensures content is engaging, accurate, SEO-optimised, and aligned with brand and industry best practices. Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will oversee copywriting, proofreading, fact-checking, and image sourcing while managing content workflows through platforms like Jira and Monday.com. This role also contributes to content projects, marketing campaigns, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance Destination NSW’s digital presence.

About You
You are an experienced digital copywriter with a strong background in creating engaging, consumer-focused content for websites. You have a solid understanding of SEO best practices, including keyword research and on-page optimisation, and are skilled in using content management systems (CMS), web accessibility standards (WCAG) and web analytics tools. With excellent project management skills, you can juggle multiple deadlines while maintaining brand consistency and a high standard of accuracy. You are adept at working with cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder expectations, and implementing content strategies that enhance user experience. Experience in the tourism industry/sector would be highly regarded.
