Description:
Citywide is recruiting for Mower Operators to work within our prestigious open space contract in Melbourne’s CBD, maintaining some of the City’s most iconic parks and gardens.
- Depots across the CBD
- Monday to Friday 6.30am to 2.36pm
Responsibilities of the roles include but are not limited to:
- Mowing, turf improvement works, litter, leaf and debris collection, weed spraying and monitoring of irrigation.
- Leaf collection and broadleaf weed control
- Pre-event site preparation, machine operations and machinery maintenance.
- Record all work using digital systems
Skills and experience required:
- Previous relevant experience in a similar role (Desirable)
- MR Licence (Desirable)
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence
- Knowledge of herbicide application techniques (Desirable)
- Traffic Management experience (Desirable)
- First Aid (Desirable)
- Cert 3 Chemical User (Desirable)
- Working with Children Check
- Excellent work ethic
- Team player
- Motivated
- Good communication skills
- Focus on safety of self and others
