We’re excited to offer a rewarding opportunity to join Doutta Galla Aged Services in Avondale Heights as a Clinical Care Supervisor (Grade 5). In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional clinical care services, overseeing care planning, and conducting thorough reviews and assessments of all clinical care aspects.
This is a casual position with night shifts availabile on weekdays.
The successful candidate will join our dedicated clinical team, and must embrace the Aged Care Quality Standards to deliver personalised care to maximise each residents’ health, well-being and choice.
What you will bring:
- Dedication to resident care and support
- Excellent clinical knowledge regarding medical conditions, palliative care, and care of people living with dementia including managing challenging behaviours
- Current AHPRA Registered Nurse DIV 1 registration with no conditions and several years experience as an RN in Charge in Aged Care.
- High level interpersonal and written skills
- A positive and flexible attitude
- Experience managing staff and performance management
- Ability to effectively communicate with residents, resident representatives and other health professionals
- Understanding of the aged care reform agenda, including AN-ACC funding and royal commission recommendations related to clinical care
- Current AHPRA Registered Nurse DIV 1 registration with no conditions and several years experience as an RN in Charge in Aged Care.
Doutta Galla Avondale Heights is a 108 room aged care home with views over the Maribyrnong River parklands. The residence offers a mix of care options, including permanent and respite care and has a secure dementia support unit with dedicated, qualified staff and dementia specific programs.
