Rocco's Pizzeria are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various cooking techniques and a creative flair for developing innovative dishes. You will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the menu and customer preferences.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create seasonal menus and special offerings.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends .
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,785.69 – $80,318.34 per year
