About the Role

Our Dandenong branch has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join us in the position of Yardhand / Trade Assistant . We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the yard and is interested in working within a varied work environment.

Your responsibilities will include

• Assist the Workshop Diesel Mechanics as directed
• Ensure workshop is kept neat and tidy
• Ensure a safe working environment
• Ensure machine transfers are made ready for dispatch
• Conformance to quality systems and procedures
• Receipt incoming equipment and attachments
• Ensure accuracy of arrival paperwork
  Ensure that the general appearance of yard and branch are maintained and kept in a clean and tidy state
• Assisting in other branch related duties as required

To be successful you will need:

• A current Forklift Licence
• Demonstrated work experience in a similar position
• A safety focus - ensure the safety of yourself and your peers
• Mechanical aptitude
• Self-motivation with a focus on service
