About the role
As Senior Change Manager, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of all in-scope Change Management outputs and activities including analysis and delivery of required artefacts, alignment of output/outcome scope for the projects assigned within the National Energy Market (NEM) Portfolio.
A twelve-month fixed term contract position, reporting to the Portfolio Change Manager, with a dotted line to the relevant Program/Project Managers. Flexibility to be based across AEMO offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth.
What you will be doing
- Accountable for the completion of all required change artefacts across key areas including (but not limited to) Change Impact Assessment, Communication and Engagement plans, Learning and Training, Business Readiness, Change Handover Plans, and status reports.
- Adhere to the AEMO Enterprise Change Framework, Principles and supporting templates to deliver key artefacts (plans, strategies) whilst working with the Enterprise Change Practice and Change Assurance model to ensure required levels of quality and consistency.
- Attend and participate in mandatory regular Enterprise Change Practice Centre of Excellence meetings and any associated reporting.
- Where relevant, provide oversight of vendor delivered training and learning materials and ensure all learning and development activities and materials meet the requirements and identified learning outcomes.
What you will bring to the role
- A wealth of experience working at a Senior delivery level across the full spectrum of Change Management and/or Transformation projects/programs, artefacts, tools and techniques including large scale complex technology/digital, operational, and operating model initiatives.
- Established skills in Project Management approaches, tools, methodologies, and approaches (Waterfall, Agile) and the ability to work in a project team.
- Demonstrated experience in both the planning and execution of Change Management activities including Change Impact Assessments, Communications and Engagement, Learning and Training, Business Readiness Checks, and Change Handover.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in a Business, Commerce or related discipline is desirable.
- Due to the requirements of this role, you must be an Australian citizen with the ability to attain and maintain an appropriate level of national security clearance.
