Role Description/Criteria

The newly named Saints College, currently St Joseph’s School, is seeking an experienced ICT Support Officer to join their school community.

Since 2012, we have led the way in radically inclusive education, supporting students with diverse challenges. We are an inclusive school for 12–25-year-olds seeking an alternative to mainstream education. Our environment celebrates all abilities and backgrounds, providing transformative learning experiences catering to individual needs.?

We operate multiple campuses located in Melbourne, Geelong, Colac, Ballarat, and a dual engagement virtual learning campus, BlendED.

The young people we serve often face significant and complex educational, social, developmental, psychological, health, legal, or familial challenges, which demand unique interventions. Our approach is grounded in the Operation by Principles framework, which combines education with an understanding of trauma-informed practices.

The Role:

  • We are looking for a full time ICT Support Officer to join our team, based in our North Melbourne campus
  • You will be employed on an ongoing basis, commencing as soon as possible, and will be employed under the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022.
  • The salary will be in the range of Education Support Employee Level 3 $81,334 to $92,158 (depending on qualifications and experience), plus superannuation and leave loading.

You will need:

  • Ability to commit to and work within our Operating Principles; Respect, Participation, Safe and Legal and Honesty.
  • Tertiary Qualification in ICT, a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 1 year of experience in a similar role will be highly desirable
  • Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and provide a National Police Check certificate (issued within the last six months)
  • The ability to inspire and engage young people
  • Be willing to support young people and our team members to reach their potential
